Project "Flexo"
Developed as ARIA Seed Creators
Adaptive Machine Patterns is a research company, we have developed significant IP in the areas of Modular Robotics & a Novel Gear Mechanism, we are looking for partners to:

Its been a wild ride, but we aren't alone - helped by the UK R&D ecosystem and based in Cambridge, heart of the 'silicon fen'. We would like to thank the following programmes & groups:
Dr Andy Whyte & Flexo
Tech. Founder
The timing couldn't have been bertter! Andy says: "We have been lucky to be ARIA Seed Creators, working closely with ARIA - the UK's Moonshot Science Research Agency, we have been able to develop a novel approach to robotic arms, using lighter, composite materials and packing impressive compute into each of our modular robotic joints we are able to bring a novel approach to ROS based robotic systems. We have also created significant IP from the project and we are excited about the potential impacts of our work."

On the first of January 2026, Einstein's work went into the public domain - on publishing a translation of Einstein's' previously untranslated papers!

Engineers love kit, and we love getting great kit - some of our choices of equipment for design

We are ARIA Seed Creators - Endorsed as thought leaders by the governments moonshot science R&D agency

We've been raving about modularity in robotics, at last we are starting to be able to reveal our embedded-digital-twin tech.
This post is about the process that leads people on the road to building a company.
